Dream Together (Uganda)
Child's Story
Work hard to realize your dreams
Dennis is a 10-year-old boy who is studying P3. Although his father passed away at an early age and his mother chose to leave home and remarry, he and his sisters faced the difficult situation of not being accompanied by their biological parents; but thankfully, they received care and assistance from relatives and friends. These relatives and friends were originally engaged in agricultural work. However, due to the outbreak of civil war, they were forced to flee their homes and enter a refugee camp in Uganda. The family lost their source of income and could only survive by relying on the generous assistance of the World Food Program.
Dennis was passionate about reading and longed for a better future. Although his academic performance is only average, in order to realize his dream of becoming a police officer, he will study hard and seek greater progress.
